Kentucky made one of the biggest additions of the college basketball offseason by landing former Iowa State forward Milan Momcilovic, and the move reportedly came with one of the richest NIL agreements in the sport.

According to multiple reports, Momcilovic's NIL package is valued at more than $6 million for the 2026-27 season. While the financial details have not been confirmed by Kentucky or Momcilovic, the reported figure would place him among the highest-paid players in college basketball.

The 6-foot-8 forward entered the transfer portal after withdrawing from the 2026 NBA Draft and immediately became one of the most sought-after players available. Kentucky head coach Mark Pope made him a priority, believing his shooting ability and experience were ideal fits for the Wildcats' offensive system.

Momcilovic is coming off the best season of his college career at Iowa State, where he averaged 16.9 points and 3.1 rebounds per game while leading Division I in three-point shooting at 48.7 percent. He connected on 136 three-pointers, establishing himself as one of the nation's premier perimeter shooters.

His arrival gives Kentucky one of the country's most dangerous floor spacers. At 6-foot-8, Momcilovic has the ability to stretch defenses well beyond the three-point line, opening driving lanes for guards while creating more room for the Wildcats' frontcourt to operate.

The reported NIL agreement has fueled plenty of conversation across college basketball, underscoring just how competitive the transfer portal has become. Proven players with high-level production are commanding unprecedented compensation, and Kentucky's pursuit of Momcilovic reflects the premium programs are willing to pay for elite talent.
