Alabama has strengthened its frontcourt for the future, landing a commitment from 7-foot center TJ St. Louis, one of the more intriguing international prospects in the 2026 recruiting class.

A native of Canada, St. Louis has developed through the NBA Academy Latin America and gained valuable experience representing Canada in international competition, including the 2024 FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup. His combination of size, length and defensive potential made him a priority target for the Crimson Tide.

While St. Louis is still developing offensively, his physical tools immediately stand out. At 7 feet tall, he has the frame to become an impactful rim protector and rebounder, while his mobility gives Alabama's coaching staff a strong foundation to build upon.

Head coach Nate Oats has consistently recruited players who fit Alabama's up-tempo style while also adding size and versatility to the roster. St. Louis checks those boxes and gives the Crimson Tide another high-upside frontcourt piece as the program continues to compete among the nation's elite.

The commitment adds to Alabama's impressive 2026 class and provides the Crimson Tide with another long-term developmental prospect. If his progression continues, St. Louis has the potential to become an important contributor in Tuscaloosa over the coming seasons.
