As speculation surrounding LeBron James' future continues to dominate the NBA offseason, Stephen Curry has finally weighed in on one of basketball's biggest storylines.

Speaking at a celebrity golf tournament in Stateline, Nevada, Curry was asked about the possibility of teaming up with the four-time NBA champion if James were to leave the Los Angeles Lakers.

Curry smiled when answering, joking that he was just as interested in seeing LeBron's golf game as he was the basketball discussion.

"I'd say more so I'm interested to just play golf with LeBron. We'll handle the basketball stuff, but I want to see the golf LeBron. He's out here really grinding on the game," Curry said. "Obviously we'd love to play together. Hopefully it happens. He's earned the opportunity and the right to take his time with the decision."

While Curry's comments were lighthearted, they reinforced what many around the league have long believed—playing alongside one of the greatest players in NBA history is an opportunity any competitor would welcome.

Golden State's Bigger Vision

According to ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania, the Warriors explored an ambitious offseason scenario that extended beyond acquiring James.

Golden State reportedly envisioned building a veteran powerhouse featuring Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis.

However, Charania indicated those discussions never gained meaningful momentum, particularly because acquiring Davis appeared increasingly unrealistic.

"The Warriors' whole plan going into free agency was, 'Let's see if we can get Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, LeBron James and Anthony Davis,'" Charania said. "Short of that, I don't think the Warriors are high on that list."

NBA reporter Jake Weinbach added that any renewed pursuit of Davis would likely require a significant trade package that could include Jimmy Butler, two future first-round draft picks, and at least one first-round pick swap.

Such a move would represent one of the most aggressive trades in franchise history and would dramatically impact Golden State's future roster flexibility.

Curry Believes the Warriors Will Find Answers

Whether LeBron ultimately joins the Warriors or not, Curry expressed confidence in the organization's commitment to competing for another NBA championship.

"They know how I feel," Curry said. "They're always trying to win. It's a unique situation right now, and it always comes down to timing and who's available, especially at the top of the salary cap."

Curry acknowledged that if a blockbuster move doesn't happen, Golden State's front office will continue searching for creative ways to strengthen the roster.

"I don't know what kind of creative ways we can continue to get better if LeBron doesn't come or whatever, but we'll figure it out."

NBA Offseason's Biggest Question Remains

At this point, the idea of Curry and James wearing the same NBA uniform remains speculation.

The two future Hall of Famers spent years battling in four consecutive NBA Finals before becoming teammates with Team USA, proving they can thrive together on the court.
